Program Summary

The AHRA Leaders of Choice Program is a 12-month leadership learning experience brought to you by AHRA, sponsored by United Imaging, and facilitated by Traction Business Development.

This program will prepare senior imaging professionals to be the confident, next-level leaders needed to manage the increasingly complex healthcare environment. In addition to growing overall business skills, presentation skills, and financial acumen, participants will be challenged to be bold thinkers, capable of changing the status quo and choosing the path forward for their organizations.

How It Works

The program kicks off and ends at AHRA's Annual Meeting. Participants will attend a welcome session at the 2025 conference and have the chance to meet the graduating class. Cohort member will then will engage in a full year of collaborative learning. The cohort culminates at the 2026 Annual Meeting with a Capstone project presentation of the work they have done throughout. The program curriculum includes a combination of live sessions (virtual and in-person), on-demand recordings, articles, and online community activities. Participants also receive one-on-one coaching with the program facilitator, and opportunities to participate in volunteering and authorship opportunities.

Program features include:

  • Actionable, hands-on learning tailored to your specific goals
  • Peer-to-peer learning and networking with like-minded leaders
  • Fostered collaboration and small group, one-to-one instruction
  • Confidential, ongoing access to the instructor and other experienced leaders for the program's duration
  • A way to distinguish and differentiate yourself as a "leader of choice"

All program candidates will receive a confidential survey before the program kick-off to provide perceived strengths and weaknesses, and to identify developmental goals for the program. Upon graduation, candidates will receive a certificate of completion.
