AHRA EF Unemployment Support

Engagement with peers, access to information, and continued education are key benefits of AHRA membership and are especially important during periods of career transition.

AHRA and the AHRA Education Foundation recognize the importance of supporting members through times of unemployment and are committed to helping members remain connected and professionally engaged.

AHRA EF Education Waiver Program

The Education Waiver Program provides support for unemployed AHRA members who are actively seeking employment in medical imaging management. This program offers the opportunity to attend one AHRA conference, either the Annual Meeting and/or CLIMB, to continue professional development, connect with peers, and pursue new employment opportunities.

Benefits

Maximum benefit: $2,250

One scholarship per year
Meeting Registration
- $750 toward the base Annual Meeting registration fee
- $199 toward CLIMB registration
Travel and Accommodations
- Up to $1,300 in accordance with the Travel and Accommodation Policy*
- Recipients must submit receipts to AHRA for reimbursement

AHRA EF Dues Waiver Program

The Dues Waiver Program allows eligible AHRA members who have become unemployed to extend their AHRA membership for up to one year. This program is available to members who have maintained AHRA membership for five or more years, are currently unemployed and actively seeking employment in medical imaging management, and are not working as a consultant.

Approved members will continue to receive most AHRA membership benefits, including access to resources and networking opportunities. Members participating in the Dues Waiver Program will receive the digital version of Radiology Management for the duration of the waiver period.
